Every world event gets a market receipt.

01The two faces
Face one · looks back

Measured, not guessed.

For every earthquake of M6.0 or more, every orange or red disaster alert and every Fed decision, JANUSEE pins six prices at the first market close after it — then again at +5 minutes, +1 hour and +24 hours.

Each move is set against a normal move for the same window. Under 1.5× noise, up to 3× notable, beyond that outlier.

Face two · looks ahead

An AI that gets graded.

When a big event lands — or two hours before the Fed speaks — an AI calls Bitcoin's direction for the next hour and the next day: up, down or flat. It never touches the numbers.

When the window closes the call is marked right or wrong against the measured move, and its record sits next to the dumbest strategy there is: always say “flat”.

02The world, as it happens

Storms form. Markets move.

Real footage from the International Space Station — Hurricane Helene, Hurricane Erin, a night storm and city lights. Footage: NASA, public domain. The film shows what JANUSEE watches; it does not claim these storms moved any market.

03From the receipts so far

What actually moves Bitcoin?

Median Bitcoin move one hour after each kind of event, compared with a normal hour.

1.0× = a normal hour. Coincidence is not cause — a receipt shows what happened after, not why.

01What is a market receipt?

A record of how six markets — Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, gold, WTI crude and the S&P 500 — moved 5 minutes, 1 hour and 24 hours after a world event, compared with how much they normally move in the same window.

02Why compare with a “normal” move?

Markets move all the time. A 0.3% Bitcoin move after an earthquake means nothing if Bitcoin moves 0.3% in a typical hour anyway. JANUSEE uses the median move over recent weeks as the yardstick, so a receipt can honestly say “noise”.

03Does the AI trade or give advice?

No. It only calls a direction — up, down or flat — before the outcome exists, so its record can be checked. Nothing on JANUSEE is financial advice.

04Where does the data come from?

Earthquakes from USGS, disasters from GDACS, volcanoes from NASA EONET, the Federal Reserve's published meeting calendar, and market prices from Yahoo Finance. Every receipt links to its source.

05Why are some cells “closed”?

Gold, oil and the S&P use futures that shut at weekends and during a short daily break. When a market is shut, the receipt says so instead of inventing a price.

06Are past events forecast after the fact?

Never. The map is filled with a year of historical receipts so you can see patterns from day one, but those events never get an AI call. Only calls made before the outcome count.
